How to Join

Our group is easy to join!

Our main planning is done on Facebook. You will need an account to vote on polls for dates or locations, or to join the discussion.

Simply go to this link, and--this is important! Read the rules and answer the questions. They are really simple:

Do you know anyone in the group?

Where are you located?

Do you agree to follow our rules?

These are necessary to weed out bots and spammers, as well as people who join any group with the word 'cosplay' in it regardless of actual content.

We encourage you to invite friends, but please send them to click the join button--don't just add them! Facebook does not send a notification that you need to answer questions, so their request will end up in purgatory or deleted. We need to know that they are a real person who wants to be involved.

Our group is not for general cosplay discussion, promotion, or advice--we are focused on planning events and sharing images from them. It's okay to advertise other local cosplay events, but please ask a moderator first so we can give the seal of approval.

I don't have a Facebook, what do I do?

We do not currently have an active discord. There is a similarly named one, Western PA Congoers Discord, but we are not affiliated. We are working on getting one set up, so please keep an eye on this page for an announcement when it is ready.

You can ask a friend who is in the group to message a moderator for approval to attend events--we only ask so we know who to expect/is with our group. As long as you agree to follow the rules, there's really no other criteria for approval!

Your last option is to contact Fey via email (feytaline at gmail) or on discord at Feytaline to receive updates.

I'm under 18, can I still attend meets?

Our meets are appropriate for all ages, but any minors must bring a parent or guardian.
