Western PA Cosplay Shoots Meetup at Scottycon 2023, Carnegie Melon University's one day anime convention.

Western PA Cosplay Shoots (formerly Western PA Cosplay Photoshoots) is a cosplay and photography meet up group founded in 2015 by Feytaline. Just five people came to the first meetup in McConnell’s Mills State Park!

Over the years, the group has grown to nearly 500 members and now hosts monthly events throughout the year in locations ranging from Allegheny County’s North Park, to Hell’s Hollow, The Mansions on Fifth, Soergal’s Orchards, and The Cathedral of Learning.

Shoots are free and open to any cosplayers and photographers regardless of skill level. On Facebook, members can vote on dates and suggest locations. Events are finalized about two months in advance.
